Having researched various images from the musical film 'Dream Girls' there was some common themes to pick up on. Again red is used to connote lust and power, the costume again consists of sequins: something highly recognisable in theatrical performances. The contrasts of dark lighting with bright stage lighting allows the colours to stand out to an audience and also allows shadows to form which again is highly recogniable in theatre. Silhoettes are often used to outline the figure of an artist and place them in a position of power.
