This is a draft of my homepage in which I have altered the colour of the background to experiment with different styles and approaches. I feel that although this colour looks visually striking it may be too bright for the user, it is also not a conventional colour of my genre. I edited the colour on Photoshop by clicking on Image- adjustments - colour balance.
